Our 11.5" diameter wall plaques are the perfect gift for birthdays, holidays or for the new retiree. The US ARMY ENGINEERS wall plaque has a RED background providing an elegant piece for the den wall or mantle. The plaques are made from 1/4" and 1/8"(BB/BB) grade Baltic birch 3-ply wood. BB/BB means that the both surfaces of the wood are "cabinet grade" quality so the finished product is a high quality gift. The plaques are sanded and then the middle "ring" is stained with a special blended stain and the background is painted. The finished piece is then sprayed with a crystal clear enamel for a semi-gloss finish.The middle ring can be personalized to include a name or personalized message. Another option is to add text on the inner section of the piece to add even more of a personal touch. Either or both of these options can be added for just $10 more.
